A pellets ballistic coefficient is very important for determining a pellets trajectory, especially over a long distance. While a pellets ballistic coefficient can change slightly depending on a speed of the pellet, here are the general ballistic coefficient figures for several popular .22 caliber pellets.

Putting Ballistic Coefficient Numbers To Use
Airguns.net has a fantastic calculator for determining pellet trajectory ( http://www.airguns.net/trajectory.php). By entering information on your pellet, gun, scope and shooting distance, it will give you all kinds of useful information to make you a better shooter.
In the instance below, I entered the information of my Benjamin Titan .177 firing Crosman Premier Hollow Points. I have my scope zeroed in for 25 yards, but wanted to determine how much drop and powered I would have at 50 yards.
At 50 yards, my pellet will drop 6.33 inches, but will still have 6.19 foot pounds of energy. If I wanted to adjust my scope, it tells me how many clicks would be required, or I could just estimate the distance using my mil-dots. In short, knowing your pellets ballistic coefficient and your guns specs will make you a better of a shooter.
